A friend of mine recently bought a C6 Z06 to which he’s added C7 Z06 wheels, bigass Michelin cup tires, headers, straight pipes, and some other bolt-ons. He’s a 30-something guy who’s not at all about that Corvette lifestyle, but he does like shit talking the hideous crap the more stereotypical Corvette owners do.
So, he keeps sending me links to Corvette shit, and now Corvettes keep popping up in my Facebook ads. Including the abomination above, listed !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .
Friend’s Z06, for reference....

yeah, “less is more”, (though whatever floats their boat too - there is goofy stuff that I like that nobody else does I suppose...)

I’ll admit, that is a wonderful gray. It would look best without all the wheel paint and stingray graphics.

My neighbor just got a Raptor in a very similar color, and I find myself really liking it a lot.

Maybe I’m just in a good mood, but I’d 100% drive that horrible Stingray.

Those tires really push that one over the top.
Preferably over the top of a cliff with a 300 foot drop.

I agree. Lose the graphics and it ’s better looking than the other one that is pictured.

I hate the Corvette image, buuuuuut every time I drive my mom’s I’m like YEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
Hers is a C5, headers and everything behind it and a short throw shifter. Tough to live with everyday but not because of the way it drives. It is one of the easiest driving cars I have driven.

If you want to lose all faith in humanity, look up Bad Boy Vettes. They sell ENGINE COVERS in stages. And they can cost up to $3k. For an engine cover.
So next time your at the show and you see a Corvette with a hideous engine cover, know that the owner spent hundreds to thousands of dollars on being a joke.

The C5 the C5 was the first Corvette I really liked and wouldn’t mind owning. Still fairly simple but a lot of quality improvements and a better suspension
